Reassurance on PIP Eligibility for Argus Users

ArgusConnect has received a number of inquiries from concerned GP Divisions and Practitioners regarding the Federal Department of Health and Aging (DOHA) letter dated Friday 13 March 2009 about implementation of the Practice Incentives Program (PIP) e-Health Incentive.

DOHA made the announcement before NEHTA has completed the engagement process for enlisting the eligible vendors.

NEHTA has advised us today that they are "in the process of compiling the eligible vendor list which they will publish on or after 27 March".

Please be assured ArgusConnect is committed to signing up as an eligible vendor and ArgusConnect will be meeting with DOHA on 19 March 2009 regarding the listing of Argus as an eligible product for PIP e-Health Incentive payments.

DOHA and the Medical Software Industry Association (MSIA) have a meeting scheduled for 25 March 2009 regarding other vendors and products.

We would like to reassure all Argus users that Argus maintains close communication with DOHA and NEHTA and that the utilisation of Argus will satisfy the PIP e-Health Incentive eligibility criteria.
