Applications Programmer

ArgusConnect has a vacancy for an experienced programmer to join its Development Team, working in application development of secure messaging technology for healthcare.

The position is a fulltime appointment focusing on contributing to the maintenance, enhancement and development of our core product; essentially adhering to development processes to ensure delivery of a quality product.

The role would suit a person who is technically sharp and has the self-confidence to engage any problem with enthusiasm, determination and diligent attention to defined needs. The successful applicant will display abilities for ongoing self-education.

The applicant should also possess strong skills in SOA, C++, Java and design patterns.  Experience in the health care sector and in particular with HL7 will be advantageous.  The role requires a person who enjoys contributing to a team effort to develop a quality product. Product lifecycle experience will be an advantage.

IT Support Professional

ArgusConnect has a vacancy for an experienced person to join its Support Team HelpDesk, working at the cutting edge of secure messaging technology.  The role focuses on provision of first-level customer support assisting users with installing and troubleshooting our core products, and also involves product testing and quality control. 

An opportunity also exists for a more senior role within the Support Team, dependant on the skills level and experience of the applicant.

Our clients are Australia-wide healthcare professionals and include GPs, hospitals, specialists, and pathology and radiology companies.  If you have experience in an IT environment and enjoy solving clients’ technical problems, you are invited to apply for this position.

Very high customer-relations skills are needed as well as a strong technical background, an ability to work in a small, close team environment, and an aptitude for fast-track learning.  Formal training and/or experience in IT/computing is essential.
