ArgusMessenger for GPs, Specialists and Allied Health

General Practitioners, Medical Specialists and Allied Health Practitioners may obtain ArgusMessenger under an annual subscription agreement, which covers both the licence to use Argus and a full support service. This provides a fully functional secure messaging facility capable of interconnecting with a wide range of clinical record packages. Practices that do not have specific clinical record software have the option of integrating MSWord with ArgusMessenger for sending communications.

Argus provides a Subscription service offering problem resolution by phone or remote access, at an affordable cost based on the size of the practice and calculated on a unit cost per practitioner.  This is an equitable arrangement resulting in the smaller the practice, the lesser the cost.

One single annual Subscription fee provides licence and rights to use Argus, plus full HelpDesk/Technical Support Service.

Support features:

  • All software upgrades and new version releases available online.
  • Both technical problem rectification and operator HelpDesk assistance.
  • Unlimited assistance. No time limit or number-of-call limit.
  • Problem resolution by phone, email or remote access.
  • Available by phone during normal business hours.

12 Practitioner Price Cap

For larger practices, there is a price cap whereby any practice will only be charged a maximum of the equivalent of 12 practitioners, regardless of the size of the practice (fulltime practitioners must be counted first).It is important that larger practices are covered for support because of their greater dependency on their secure messaging and the greater complexity that larger networks and numbers of doctors/users introduce. This concession is designed to reduce possible cost barriers for larger practices.

$121 per year per full-time practitioner (six sessions or more per week)

$72.60 per year per part-time practitioner (five sessions or less per week)

Note: There must be at least one practitioner at the full-time rate at each practice

Software Installation performed by ArgusConnect Performed remotely by the Argus Support Team.  Cost includes:
  • Training in the use of Argus
  • Testing to ensure a trouble-free installation
  • One month's Support Warranty Period (once installed)
$220 per site if paid prior to installation
$330 per site if paid post-installation
Upgrade Assistance
Sites without current Priority Support or Subscription will be charged for technical assistance to apply Argus upgrades.
